Overview on the Construction of Atmakur Municipal Bus Stand

We are pleased to provide you with an overview of the construction project for the Atmakur Municipal Bus Stand. This landmark development initiative, undertaken by the Mekapati Goutham Reddy Foundation(MGR) in collaboration with the Atmakur Development Forum(ADF), aims to transform Atmakur Constituency into a center of attraction and improve the quality of life for Atmakur residents.

Project Objectives:

1. Enhance Connectivity: The construction of the bus stand aims to improve transportation infrastructure, facilitating better connectivity within Atmakur Constituency and the surrounding areas.
2. Promote Economic Growth: By providing a modern and well-equipped bus stand, we aim to attract more businesses and commercial activities, fostering economic growth and creating job opportunities for the local community.
3. Ensure Quality Facilities: Our focus on quality ensures that the bus stand offers excellent amenities, including eight bus bays, additional shops, expanded road infrastructure, toilets and underground drainage system for proper sanitation.

Construction Highlights:

1. Timely Completion: The construction project was completed within an impressive three-month timeframe, reflecting our dedication to delivering results efficiently.
2. Generous Contribution: To fullfil the vision of late Minister Sri. Mekapati Goutham Reddy and foster the development of Atmakur Constituency, his family made an initial contribution of Rs. 10 crore through the Mekapati Goutham Reddy Foundation (MGR). Out of this contribution, a substantial portion of Rs. 4.5 crore has been specifically used for the construction of the bus stand, exemplifying their commitment to fulfilling the late Minister’s Sri. Mekapati Goutham Reddy aspirations for the constituency.
3. Inauguration Ceremony: The bus stand will be inaugurated on June 23, led by Atmakur MLA Sri. Mekapati Vikram Reddy, along with the Mekapati Goutham Reddy Foundation(MGR) and the Atmakur Development Forum (ADF).

Future Plans:

1. Expansion: We have plans to construct three additional bus stands in Sangam, As Peta, and Chejarla, aiming to further improve connectivity and transportation services in the region.
2. Atmakuru Development Forum: Through this platform, we encourage active participation from individuals born and raised in Atmakuru Constituency, leveraging their expertise and ideas to address socio-economic challenges and drive innovative development initiatives.
