Sri Mekapati Vikram Reddy
ADF is the brainchild of Sri Mekapati Vikram Reddy whose profound experiences from his pursuit of academic excellence to his professional success gave shape to a first-of-its-kind platform for the development of Atmakur Assembly Constituency.
His journey as an accomplished and a successful Civil Engineering professional in India, started from his undergraduation days in Civil Engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras after which, he moved to the United States to pursue his masters (M.S) in Construction Management from the Texas University. Equipped with the relevant skills, he returned to India in the year and started his stint with the KMC group founded by his father Sri Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy (Former Member of Parliament from Nellore). It was his toil, business acumen, and corporate intelligence that led him to steer KMC group to become one of the leading construction groups in India during his stint in the leadership of the group.
The sudden and unfortunate demise of his beloved brother and a peoples leader Sri Mekapati Goutham Reddy in 2022 left a permanant void in the family and more so amongst the people of the Atmakur Assembly Constituency who looked up to him with immense hope as he had embarked on ambitious plans to transform the region. Therefore, Sri Mekapati Vikram Reddy had stepped up to fulfill the responsibilities of the visionary leader and was blessed by the people of the region in the bye-polls that ensued by registering a whopping majority of 82,888 votes against his nearest competitor enabling him to get elected as the Member of Legislative Assembly from Atmakur.
Ever since his victory, he has been on a singluar mission of visiting every household across all the 135 villages and 23 municipal wards of the constituency while interacting with the masses one-to-one and getting a first-hand understanding of the issues faced by the people in the region. Therefore, in line with his commitment to the people of Atmakur for addressing the developmental challenges of the region, ADF shall play a crucial role in instituting a culture of ‘Think Global, Act Local’ approach while providing an avenue for the non-residents to meaningfully channelize their energy and resources to collectively transform the region.
